So, what makes me qualified to do your
wedding reception?
I started as a professional Disc Jockey in 1985 at the age of 15 and
worked for almost every Portland radio station over the next 13
years. At the same time, I worked at a couple of the local TV
stations and wrote newspaper columns for small weekly newspapers
throughout Greater Portland.
In late 1996, several months after my own wedding, I was asked by
someone to perform as the DJ/MC at their wedding the following
spring.
Then, on Independence Day 2001, I decided that it was time to create
my own independence and go full-time as a Disc Jockey. I felt that I
could give my clients the full-time service they deserve. I have not
looked back since.
Since that time, I co-founded the Maine Disc Jockey Network, was
Regional Network Leader for the National Association of Mobile
Entertainers, a founding executive member of the Professional Disc
Jockeys of New England and a former member of the American Disc
Jockey Association.
In 2003, I also launched a wedding portal to enable brides to find
wedding professionals in Maine called the Maine Wedding Planner.
So, what's the point?
The bottom line is that I have a passion for what I do and I
actually do this for a living. This is not just a hobby for me like
most of my competition. I have to be on my "A" game at EVERY SINGLE
EVENT.
I have entertained at over 300 wedding receptions celebrations as of
June 2007 and look forward to entertaining guests at your event too!
